All recordings and data are stored locally on your device. Transcripts are only sent to Google's Gemini API when you use AI features, authenticated with your own key.
Yes. Go to the Natter Pro screen and tap "Restore Purchases." Your one-time purchase is linked to your Apple ID and transfers to any device.

Natter Notes ("the App") is developed by EI Systems. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.
The App records audio using your device microphone. All audio files are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
The App uses Apple's on-device speech recognition to transcribe your recordings. Transcription is processed locally on your device.
When you use AI-powered summaries or outlines, the text of your transcript is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. This requires an API key that you provide and manage yourself. We do not have access to your API key or the data you send to Google. Google's use of this data is governed by their own privacy policy.
The App lets you share recordings and notes through the standard iOS share sheet. When you share, your selected content is handed to the app you choose (such as Mail, Messages, or Outlook). Natter does not transmit shared content to its own servers.
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or store any payment information.
The App offers a 3-day free trial for AI features. The trial start date is stored locally on your device using standard system preferences.
All data — recordings, transcripts, settings, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that collect or store your data.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties. The only external data transmission occurs when you use AI features, which sends transcript text to Google's Gemini API using your own API key.
